1. What Oneiros provides

Oneiros is a private dream journal and AI-assisted symbolic reflection app. It helps you record dreams, optionally transcribe voice notes, receive generated reflections, chat about dream material, and explore recurring patterns over time.

2. Not medical, mental health, or crisis support

Oneiros is for journaling, wellness, and self-inquiry only. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, mental health treatment, crisis support, emergency support, or professional advice. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, feel in immediate danger, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis, medical, or mental health professional now.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Oneiros. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the dreams, notes, messages, and other content you enter into Oneiros. You grant Oneiros the limited permission needed to store, process, sync, transcribe, analyze, and display your content so the app can provide its features.

You are responsible for the content you enter. Do not use Oneiros to store or transmit illegal, abusive, harmful, or rights-infringing content.

6. AI-generated output

AI reflections, chat responses, metadata, and insights are generated automatically. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or emotionally unsuitable. You are responsible for deciding what feels useful, safe, or relevant to engage with.

Do not rely on AI output as fact, instruction, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or services without authorization.
• Abuse AI, transcription, support, or sync systems through excessive, automated, or harmful requests.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt Oneiros or its providers.
• Use Oneiros in a way that violates law or infringes the rights of others.

8. Subscriptions and paid features

Oneiros may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future. If a paid feature is made available through an app store, purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, and restore behavior will be handled according to that store's rules and the terms shown at purchase.

9. Account deletion

You may request account and data deletion through the app or by contacting support@oneirosjournal.com. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep Oneiros reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app or any feature will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free at all times. Features may change, pause, or be removed.

11. Third-party services

Oneiros depends on third-party services for authentication, hosting, database, AI processing, transcription, email, app stores, and other operations. Their availability and terms may affect your use of the app.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Oneiros is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oneiros and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Oneiros changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app or this website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
