These terms explain the basic conditions for using Oneiros. The short version is: adults only, reflective not clinical, respectful use, and clear store-based rules for paid plans.

Free, Premium, and Deeper are available through the app, with Apple App Store or Google Play handling purchases, renewals, and cancellations.
1. What Oneiros provides
Oneiros is a private dream journal and AI-assisted symbolic reflection app. It lets you record dreams, optionally transcribe voice notes, receive generated reflections, explore patterns over time, and use paid features where available.
2. Eligibility and scope
You must be at least 18 years old to use Oneiros. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you will use the service only in a lawful, respectful way.
3. Not therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support
Oneiros is for journaling, wellness, and self-inquiry only. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical care, mental health treatment, crisis support, emergency support, or professional advice. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
If you may harm yourself or someone else, feel in immediate danger, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis, medical, or mental health professional now.
4. Your account and your content
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. You keep ownership of the dreams, notes, voice material, and messages you enter into Oneiros.
You grant Oneiros the limited permission needed to host, process, sync, transcribe, analyze, and display your content so the app can provide its features.
5. AI-generated output
Reflections, chat responses, metadata, Recent Dream Field outputs, and essays are AI-generated output. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or emotionally unsuitable. You are responsible for deciding what feels useful, safe, or relevant to engage with.
Do not rely on AI-generated output as fact, instruction, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Oneiros currently offers a free plan and paid plans such as Premium and Deeper. Pricing, free trials, included quotas, renewal timing, cancellation, and refund rules are shown in the app at the point of purchase and may vary by storefront.
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms handle billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund workflows according to their own rules and policies. We may change plan features, quotas, or pricing in the future, but material billing changes will be presented through the app store flow or in-app purchase UI.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or services without authorization.
- Use Oneiros for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or rights-infringing activity.
- Abuse AI, transcription, sync, billing, or support systems through automated, excessive, or disruptive requests.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt Oneiros or its providers except where law clearly permits it.
8. Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep Oneiros reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app or any feature will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free at all times. Features may change, pause, or be removed.
Oneiros depends on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, transcription, email, and app-store billing. Their availability and terms may affect your use of the app.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oneiros is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and similar implied warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oneiros and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes, deletion, and contact
We may update these Terms as Oneiros changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app or this website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
